Challenged Darkness Poem by Pranab K Chakraborty

faint lamps
cracking dark afar
fishermen cottages
and forest
where awaiting
to meet the sea
again

friends on the beach
flaming and floating
with marijuana

ocean roars
as the hyper
snarl
just to delete
rocking chaos
civilized snobs
we become

lone baul*
yet sings alone
as if
the other side of dark
blinking with
folk tune...

...what a majestic residence
have I built on hollowness
commoner yet disallow me
as homeless...

baul* and his
one string hand-instrument
breaking the silence
of darkness
where with bossing dominance
darkness
seems to show itself
to be eternal

not we all the objects
simply hanging
moving
disappearing
on the canvas of time
not our face-lines made of water
not we all the nothing but chaos
wide expansion of night and ocean
baul* challenged by sneering superiority...

...if you made me as a puppet
i also dictating your engagement
power-play your choice

i have learnt already
nothing is everything
and everything nothing
simply bubbles of time
waiting its destined burst...
