Chameleon Poem by Neela Nath Das

Chameleon

Rating: 5.0

Chameleon, I'm afraid of you.
Simultaneously friend and foe.
I'm afraid.
Without knowing the fillings
of sandwich I never
want to have.
My eyes are unimpressive
but can scan you from
the high.
I don't care
any words which may
hurt me.
I ignore
the number 1666.
Who voted against me
cared me a lot.
I love him.
I love you Chameleon!
But, I have to toss
to see what actually
you are for me.
Friend or foe?
Damn it!
I love you.

This is not personal story. But, it goes like this.We compel to keep friendship with a person who acts as foe. Thanks for wonderful comments.
