Chances Poem by Sathya Narayana

Chances

CHANCES
What if you lost a chance?
Next day may be your own.
With rolling time wheel, days and nights sprint fast.
A sudden chance may dance
And sing in tuneful tone
Kindling new hopes and help you forget past.
But lo, while searching for an angel don't you
Ah bump across a devil O my mate.
A chance that looks with rainbow colours may
Turn out to be a doom and spoil your day.
What comes by mercy of the God tickles
You soft with nectar spills.
Don't chase chances O friend to fix your fate.
Believe in God. He gives you better in lieu.
