Chasing The Sounds Of A Remembered Flute Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Chasing The Sounds Of A Remembered Flute

Chasing the sounds of a remembered flute,
And not choosing a route from where to begin...
Can be unsettling for the one undecided,
If it was a piccolo used with an octave higher.
Or if the flute thought heard,
Was not in fact,
A clarinet?
