Childhood Poem by daniel burrows

Childhood

Stories to tell,
Winters long past,
When were young,
living carefree,
Worries of candies and treats,
Researching fun,
Searching for adventure,
Days at sea
Casting lines, no care for time. Days lasted for weeks, ands weeks for seasons.
In old days when imaginations roamed, we were groomed.
In A world long gone, longed long for but never wanted.

It's funny how when you are a kid, you cannot wait to get older. Then, when you do get older, you wish you were a kid again.
