our children gift
give depth in dimensional
meaning in our lives
our love for our children
carries into ripples circles
embracing their life interactions
echoes hopes
dreams achievements
enriching anchouring
our present future interactions
our empathy for all children families
and their opportunities quality of life
the way truth light
is such a cool name
make this name
special for all the right reasons
let our lives be seeds wisdom blossoms
flowers scent gardens in paradise
sow peace harmony blessing seeds
gift enlightenment into disharmony shards
hands radiating love tame savage beasts

I read somewhere that: ' through their children, adults live a second childhood'. Your poem resonates with that statement. I especially enjoyed the penultimate stanza - really poetic.

I also liked the penultimate stanza, the first extant stanza where I used flower seed imagery would be the final stanza od 'Snowpower' back in November 81. Adults living a second childhood through their children is a beautiful motif and experience, my father's mother called me Old Top when I was a few years old because she said I had walked this world before, an incredibly gifted wise giving women who played around eight musical instruments. Some get to live their first childhood with their children :)
