Children Of Poverty

Rating: 5.0

Arrows of poverty darting from throes
Thorns of destitution germinating from thrones

Flood of orphans sprouting on ghettos of misery
Torrents of waifs are pouring out from poverty-stricken outskirts of melancholy

Usurped future awaits them to heap upon their plights reprieved
Kingdom of agony is their permanent cottages of lights bereaved

Freezing winters and searing summers passing by

Infants of heedless justice praying with weep and cry

Such a strong and powerful voice you are yelling here for razing the dreadful poverty! Many other readers will be awakened like me by the intensity of your yearning!

dear Gajanan Mishra eradication of poverty is ridiculous because people are so self-important, they only seeking their own interest in any relationship. like a voracious wolf. we should enhance the sense of doling superfluous fascilities out to people who desperately need our help. But there are still some who are trying HARD and devote lots of energy and time to efface this fatal phenomenon from our planet.

Poverty is what kill human around the globe these days.. You remind me of Ellias when u writing about this..hmmm maybe you know him. To eradicate poverty is difficult and almost impossible that because as you said its because of human selfishness... And it is no way to cure it from people... Because everyone has different view... But im glad that you pointed this, at least you remind people and its us to play role as a big family, to gather to help and to live our life as best as we could here in this world, our house. Thanks Maleki

An insightful depiction the plight of children living in fierce wretchedness, the deplorable condition of their lives; well articulated and elegantly brought forth in good poetic diction with conviction. Thanks for sharing.

This is a very sad, situation. Poverty is not good and I believe we can overcome it when we fight it together in unity.
