Choice Poem by Rebecca Navarre

Choice

Rating: 5.0

To listen without hearing, is like to,
search but deny mirroring.
To look without seeing, is like to,
drive without steering.
To touch without feeling, is like to,
cry out but, refuse healing. Almost
like stealing... You rob yourself of
life, to carved by strife. Leave
yourself to bleed, endlessly without
need.. Grab onto the sun/son.. Let
go of the gun.. Weights a ton.. It's
your choice, pain or none..

This is really deep, Rebecca. Very intense and powerful. Why leave oneself to bleed endlessly without need? The choice to heal is ours. Thanks for the reminder.

I like these lines. Simple poetic truths that ring and a very large way! The first 4 lines were what drew me in. I can see that many of your poems are meant to help and encourage others to live a fuller more aware life. Nicely penned. Thanks Rebecca! :)
