(This poem can be read as a sequel
to the poem'Am I Next' by Randy McClave
And my poem "Razed",
For Truth is always Universal)
The question reverberates
across the entire nation
with every child
joining the chorus,
and every parent
sobbing to its tune,
"Am I Next? "
'Critic's' comment below raises interesting question. What 'truth' is refered to? and is it universal, and would the poem be necessaary?
I give full marks to the post by the anonymous critic, for it is totally false and misguided. It says I fail to define Truth. The definition of Truth can be read in my poem. If critic is not able to, what to say….And the misguided remark reiterates the relevance of my poem, undoubtedly.
I had posted rejoinders to each one of the points raised by Bri. But all are missing. Now, Bri says he has left more comments. Unfortunately, they are missing too.
Thank You, Bri for the interesting and lucid observations.
I doubt any PH members can get any 'real help' for their dissatisfactions re PH by trying to contact PH. bri
I am not privy to all that makes up decisions of governments or individuals. As for something you told me PH is not posting for youL
But, rightly or wrongly, sometimes the 'ones in power' overrule the desires of the masses. And this can be a good thing (sometimes) .

To refer to another poet is not ideal. If the truth that you fail to define is universal, is there any need to write a poem about it.
‘The Truth' that is referred to as Universal in the foreword is defined implicitly in the poem. If you can not read it in the poem, … what can I say! By your words, you have convinced me why the poem is genuinely relevant and pertinent.
