Christmas Chocolate Coins Poem by Ima Ryma

Christmas Chocolate Coins

Christmas chocolate coins be us,
Wrapped in foil of glittering gold,
Symbol of the Saint Nicholas
Giving gold coins in times of old.
Stocking stuffing favorite, we
Every Christmas morn be found,
Filling the finder with such glee.
From fingers to mouth we be bound.
Yes, we sure look like the real thing,
Imprinted with markings unique.
Some of us be for collecting,
Under safe cover just to peek.

But most of us are gone in haste,
Unwrapped and enjoyed in good taste.
