Christmas Eve Poem by David Mitchell

Christmas Eve

Rating: 5.0

The Christmas bells are ringing
With holy Christmas joy,
And choirs their carols singing
For Mary's Baby Boy,

Who bringeth us salvation
This night of all the year
To men of every nation,
And riddeth us of fear.

So sing, your joy proclaiming
For God the Three-in-One,
Our Blessed Saviour naming
As God's Eternal Son.
