Christmas For The Children

Christmas brightens the spirits
Of little girls and boys.
Santa and his elves;
All the fun and toys.
Garland, lights, tinsel.
And decorating the tree.
Favorite fruits and pastries—
Far as the eyes could see.
All the festive colors,
Red, emerald, gold...
Warm the hearts of children
In a season made for cold.
