Christmas Star Poem by Ima Ryma

Long, long ago in heaven far
I was chosen to be the one,
To shine brightly as guiding star,
So do a journey could be done
By three wise men bringing gifts from
Distant lands to Bethlehem where
Birth of baby Jesus had come,
Born in a stable manger there.
Because of star light from me shone,
The wise men safely made their way,
And then made the miracle known
Of Jesus born on Christmas Day.

Each and any Christmas Eve night,
Look to the sky and see my light.
