Circumstances / What If - Poem by Lamerre Lucie

You say,
Always were
Against you;
Luck never was
On your side;

Rain always fell
On your cheeks,
And light never
Shone on your skin;

What if I told you
That Luck never was
That powerful being
Out there,
Preventing you to smile,
Preventing you to love;

But that the only one
That's not letting you live
Is your own belief in

Would you see then,
What lies into your hands?

Would you be brave
To take your power
And be responsible,
Be who you truly are;
Sculptor of your own life?
