Rain Poem by Lamerre Lucie

Rain

Rating: 4.5

The rain's falling outside,
In the cold, silver night;
And the wind sings in the leaves,
And Moon's Eye's on us all;

I've hated the rain, once,
For it is cold, and it is gray;
But now I feel and can foresee
How Rain will clean out all that's dead.

If Rain is cold,
It's to refresh us,
From the fever of our quests;
If Rain is gray,
It's to relax us,
From the whirlwind of our lives
And from the turmoil in our heads.

So as I watch the falling rain,
I feel how much it's loving me.

Read this poem of yours- it's so beautiful! The graphic is also very nice. We in our country have a lot of rain. Particularly now, it's monsoon season when we have torrential rains for days together. Rain has profound effect on human minds. It makes one feel dearly for his/her beloved ones.
