City Of Hearts (Sonnet Vii) Poem by E.A Akonnor

City Of Hearts (Sonnet Vii)

Rating: 5.0

To someone, I'm as pure as an angel,
I'm without blemish, I can do no wrong.
Even when I'm wronged, I always forgive,
I don't keep issues within me, I'm carefree.

To someone, I'm just next to the devil,
Just the sound of my voice, everything goes wrong.
I don't keep my promises, my conversations are brief,
I'm never there when needed; and I never come in peace.

To someone, it doesn't matter whether I am good or bad,
She loves, and will keep loving me no matter what.
But she is the one I never call to look at,
She's never been on the radar, never in my plot.

To Someone, it doesn't matter how long I propose,
Her answer is a flat No! A big punch on the nose.

Not a typical sonnet rhyme pattern, but an interesting poem nevertheless. Welcome to Poem Hunter!
