Clasping Destiny Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Clasping Destiny

Wandering quietly alone, void of beings clamoring
for attention.
Taking solo steps towards flying above earth on
another plain too high for mere mortals to be.
Watching chances fly about, clasping destiny and
fate for short moments in spaceless time.
Tranquilly flowing down interior rivers, swelling
with dissatisfaction and anger.
Soundly quelling emotional waves, tidally burying
me beneath their salted eyeless tears.
