Cliff Dwellers
The sea cliffs rise majestically.
Perhaps a thousand feet or more
From narrow ledges sea birds soar.
To reap the bounty of the sea.
They demonstrate their mastery
of life along this rocky shore
By hunger driven to explore
the ever changing boundary
Where earth meets sea and sea meets sky.
These buccaneers can pick and choose
a great deal more than they can use.
It seems that nature can supply.
Everything which they might need
to satisfy their boundless greed.

It is amazing how they survive just sheltering on a rocky ledge open to all weathers. They are wonderful to watch with their fantastic feats. Lovely write Ivor, I can smell the sea air emulating from it. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
