Coastal Storm Poem by Janet Mary Zylstra

Coastal Storm

Rating: 5.0

Sculpted alabaster gulls on naked stones
Shrug drooping wings while winter crazy weather
Spits tear-salt rain into feather muted solitude
And sailor haunted flaws flute to hungry seas.
Grey veined wilderness crashes through the silence
Of muffled birdsong and small creatures' frightened tales.

The crazy weather of winter and it's impact on life and nature on sea and sea shore very wonderfully depicted in this short and sweet poem penned adroitly. Thanks for sharing.10 points.
