Cobweb In The Nook Of Your Eyes Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Cobweb In The Nook Of Your Eyes

I know it's getting late.
My eyes are getting heavy.
But if you need to talk, we can.
I know I shouldn't say.

My eyes are getting heavy.
There's no need to turn away.
Let's continue where we left off.
Just before my eye's closed.

Let's continue where we left off.
I can't feel them working anymore.
My eyes.
I'd hate to impose or be impolite.
I implore you to keep talking.

I'd hate to impose or be impolite.
As time has become a devil in our situation.
An inconstance to slurred words & blurred vision.
No you don't have to come back.

As time has become the devil in our situation.
A mere string we are in a cobweb of distraction.
As time has become a callus on the hands of the clock.

A mere string we are in an cobweb of distraction.
While the spider sits in the corner, waiting.
But if you need to talk, we can.
I know I shouldn't say.
I know it's getting late
