At 1: 30 p.m. each day,
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
The gorilla troop gets to play,
Doing computer games, they do.
Computer screens are set behind
A wall of metal mesh so that
Gorillas with fingers and mind
Play within their own habitat,
Viewing objects sequence that be,
Then from a blank screen, gorillas all,
Form the sequence from memory,
With high percentage of recall.
Even the young gorillas beat
The keepers if they dare compete.
