Color - Poem by Dorsey Baker

It aint the color of your skin
but the condition of your heart
that makes you
good or bad
right or wrong
weak or strong
It aint the color of your skin
but the condition of your heart
whats in your heart
love or hate
do you want to integrate
or would you rather
discriminate?

It aint the color of your skin
but the condition of your heart
you can build a bomb
that might destroy
but it is far better
to build a world
that we all can enjoy
Color is just a color
and a skin is just a skin
come on people
reach out
shake a hand
make a friend
