Colors Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Colors

Colors

Grey black it seemed
When I closed my eyes
In dreams so vivid black.
I didn't know what to do.

Yellow white it seemed
When I opened my eyes.
In reality so vivid white.
I didn't know what to do.

Blue surf white
When my eyes touched surf.
I knew I was inside beauty.
I knew I was having fun.

Rainbow colors all around
Did all around sound.
I heard the colors of the rainbow
In my mind, heart and soul.
