Come Lay With Me 2 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Come lay with me my sweet dear,
I'm beginning to feel quite unwell
and I would love to have you next to me
hearing your soothing voice
and feeling your soft loving touch.
Come lay with me my precious dear
and give me comfort in this time of need.
It with only you I want right here with me
as I lay down from feeling quite unwell.
Come lay with my sweet Queen and just
be with me for awhile while I lay down.
I'm feeling most unwell and just want
my Queen here to give and feel my love,
come lay with me my sweet Angel dove.
It's you I want to sit with me
and soothe through the time,
it's only you I want my sweet love.
Come lay with me and hold me through this time
because it's the one I truly love
I want and need right now.
