Come With Me Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Come With Me

Rating: 5.0

If you walk a mile
I will be ahead of you two steps
The river will follow us
To the eternity with its easy laps

I will hold you when
You begin to struggle for a walk
You will remain behind
I will lead you through the dark

Weather may sometimes
Try to pull us back to the point
Where from we started
The journey but we won't ever faint

With their bad wishes
People will come to tear apart
Our souls we have sewn
In to one soul and break our heart

The road may rough
But you must in me keep faith
My shadow will be there
To love you even after my death
