Comfort In You Poem by Linda Barnes

Comfort In You

Lonely as a castaway
Shipwrecked on an island
Left inside my mind
Hoping to be found

My restless heart
Has traveled far
Seeking comfort
From another's arms

Arriving on solid ground
To city streets and sound
Bustling with many
Who seek comfort too

We have come together
Astonished and bedazzled
As love ignites anew
For I have found comfort in you
