Con Artist Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Con Artist

A dollar quaranteed,
To multiply nonstop.
In pockets to drop.
By a skilled con artist.
Who has gained attention,
For misdeeds done to continue to do.
Will always be approved,
For entertaining distractions used.
That eliminates truth and consciousness,
From the minds of the people.
Overwhelmingly deceived.
Disbelieving to the degree,
They have been made fools.
Over a few dollars to perceive multiplying.
Only to pay more for a quality of life,
Diminishing in broad daylight.
Yet made to be convince,
An intended delusion...
Is not a permanent fixture.
Although the con artist skilled to delude,
Knows this technique applied...
Will remain implemented as a duping tool!
For the rest of their lives addicted to lies.
