Concern Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Concern

It pinches me deeply
When sit alone and think unhappily
How heavenly days were those!
When we were together and ready for pose

She will keep everything ready
And observe time before I step out for duty
I used to thank her in thought
As she was never caught

It was her way of dealing
With strict adherence in feeling
That nothing was going against
She was proving her best

"What will you do when I am no more"?
"I have not thought over or explored" I replied
She will probe in my eyes and wait for an answer
I also sensed her eagerness so answer no more

Today her absence is source of concern
I look at her picture and turn
For mental peace
But nothing comes to rescue or please
