Conformist Or Individualist Mentalities? Poem by Terence George Craddock

Conformist Or Individualist Mentalities?

Rating: 5.0

perhaps conformists
are like herd animals
needing a group identity;
needing to be part of a group
but even herds have leaders;
not everyone wants to be part of a herd
there are people comfortable
living in their own skins;

with their own developed
spirituality courage convictions
possessing the ability to happily;
or unhappily walk alone
who care nothing about trend
concepts regarding what is cool;

artists like Picaso were too busy
doing their own thing to slow down
and care what the world thought;
such artists are more concerned
with where their own thoughts...
are leading life is enriched with diversity;
