What troubles me is when girls and boys find each other,
Temporary and for pleasure,
But not forever.
Yet they invest so much time which isn't cleaver.
I never was taught how to say ‘I love you' without meaning it.
Or how to care for someone and not show it.
I know I may make mistakes sometimes but that's the least of it.
These nights are going on,
I was told ‘friends are there to bring you down.'
It makes me contemplate on which are genuine.
If any are, will they one day become foreign?
I have friends who replace me for temporary,
Not necessarily,
Maybe they find ‘them' more pleasurable indefinitely.
I don't think I should care,
One day I too will part without fear.
We will all go our separate ways.
I am beginning to realize no replacement ever stays.
A unique write that invites our careful introspection into facets of temporary pleasure
