Connection Poem by Nishi Kumari

Connection

Rating: 4.1

You stay a miles away but I feel you are so near
Like those of the twinkling stars wishing good night
in my ears
You walk down the stairs in a secret silence
But I listen to your breathes beaming with your presence
You play the guitar standing at the roadside so far
But its music drowns me in its hypnotizing beauty
so close yet so apart
Your tears when they drip down through the ripples
of your eyes
They travel the distance of my cheeks like the big
shinning pearls so bright
You borrow some smiles from those sunflowers
in the daylight
They fall on my lips every morning like the fresh
dew drops on the leaves
You stay a miles away and I don't know the way
to reach you there
But your love ties me to you like the beats of my
heart
Its a connection....a beautiful connection...

Very nice. I enjoyed reading this. I especially liked TWINKLING STARS WISHING GOOD NIGHT IN MY EARS as if you could actually hear the stars. I have a similar line in my poem DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT.
