Consolement - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Consolement - Lincoln Park Zoo

Emma is calling Gasby to
Wish her the very best now that,
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
Gasby's alone in habitat.
Asian otter, Gasby, did lose
Her male buddy, Phraay, recently,
Which indeed was very sad news.
So hoping of comfort to be,
American otter, Emma,
Who lost her Odie some while back,
Shares that feeling of dilemma
Of having no playmate, alack.

Otters, Emma and Gasby, share
Sounds of consoling sent through air.
