Conversion is primarily an un-selfing.
The individual is in his own little world
controlled by the deep-seated instincts
of self-preservation and self-enlargement.
Conversion is the larger world-consciousness
pressing in on the individual consciousness.
Often it breaks in suddenly and becomes
a joyous perception, a great new revelation.
