Cooper's Patience Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Cooper's Patience

Rating: 5.0

He digs underneath the cushions
Toppling them without regard
As I am trying to write a masterpiece
Or one that would be good enough to post
He licks himself until he gets tired
And sleeps in the corner of the big comfy couch
I just possess
I am listening to a podcast
But bored to death by it
Now, he stares at me for a moment
Waiting for me to get off the computer
However, I want to finish this poem
Knowing I am spending too much time writing
I'll stop now for I haven't anything else to say
