Cope For Hope Poem by Ima Ryma

Cope For Hope

In the rubble of destruction
The children from the neighborhood
Come together to share some fun,
To play some baseball to feel good.
From experience children know
In time and place, things do be bad.
But there is always hope and so
Hopeful attitude can be had.
The children choose to play a game
Of baseball in that time and place,
To grab onto that hope the aim
In the form of a ball to chase.

Whatever may come down today,
Children are always up to play.
