Corridors Of Time Poem by dr swami arupananda

Corridors Of Time

Rating: 5.0

Let us go there
Where deep silence reigns,
Meditative mist covers all our nests
Eyes are glazed with the colour of green
In the silky, golden morning.

You are the throb of my heart
Sometimes my mind
Insecure with unknown fears
Floats far beyond,
I know you are
The holy silver-moon
Loved by many stars,
Still my love for you
Like a flooded river
Flows every moment
To nest you dearly
In the empty castle of my heart
Large enough for us.

You are an ever-flowing spring
That quenches my thirst
You are a mirage of many meanings
That all the while
Creates thirst in me.

Tongueless, I grapple for words of assurance
And feel safe in your imaginative embrace.
The tempest of love
Is greater than tsunami
Its ire is like the frosty morning of Devon.

Love's estate is often
Lonely and sovereign,
Of God who sustains us.

Be it of ether or earth
Silence is the language of love,
I in my dejection look for HIM
The only solace and support for me
Be it there, here or anywhere.
