live and statued
she stands protecting her children
sans compromise.
and like a mother
tells her children stories
of her own and others,
of time torn and frozen
by the whitenessof truth.
her smiling tears like pearls
roll and play down
her stubborn face of majesty,
she is the bond between
the earth and the sky.
her calm arms of sacrifice
extended at every blink,
unconditional she pours out
from her melting heart,
rays of love and hope
and embarks a reservoir of nectar.
at times the sprightly sunrays,
combing her pooped out hair,
at times a sudden invasion of fogs,
sometimes an accidental stretch of rain
washing out her sorrows
are the bearable moods of her.
no regrets, noanger, no revenge
from her wide shoulders
rain her compassion of angelic beauty
the drizzling milk of kindness.
this is how a mother cares and covers
her children
all set toeschew sorrow
and smiles at them,
capable, considerate and catholic.
she is the bond between the earth and the sky.................yet it betides in blue even if chilled in snow..........wonderful write, and flows eloquently with ingenuity across the cosmic glow...10++, thanks for sharing
A LOVELY COMPARISON OF MOTHER AND HIMLAYAS...AND A MOTHER INDEED IT IS
A very wonderful interplay between one of the NATURES most scenical mountain and the act of motherhood. The resemblances are just splendid and really are very divine. The beauty of motherhood in both the cases is very well lit in this poem....
