Corruption In Serpent's Lips Poem by Vampire Heart

Corruption In Serpent's Lips

Rating: 4.8

I can feel enslavements serpentine coils wrap around me,
Leaving me with a breath weaker than the other.
With dripping fangs that ranged skywards,
They inflicted their venom into my celestial refuge,
Paralyzing my gods and reaping me of faith,
Despair being my heaven I sink to shame.
With yellow eyes and a hiss blaring from my mouth,
I surrender as defeat takes it's place in my heart...

Wonderfully written. I like the strong words you use there, a lot of suffering brought into this poem. Lovely work: -)
