Courtships Progress Poem by Biff McGuire

Courtships Progress

Rating: 5.0

A courtships progression throughout histories years
Has led many a couple to suffer in tears
The cave woman’s enticed by his carrion reserves
Then dragged by her hair to his cave where she serves
He draws his sharp sword and she bows to the knight
Impressed, former suitor he’s killed in a fight
In the old west the women forsake normal lives
Instead taking stands as polygamist’s wives
Flight attendant is lonely this time in December
And the “mile high club” receives one more new member
Unsure of the way a relationship starts
He texts her a shot of his adequate parts!
It’s crazy, it’s real
She’s a babe, he’s a heel
It’s a strange backward cycle we need to address
How some things never change, is it really progress?

This just made me smile. Is there anything stranger than the man-woman thing on this earth? (haha, don't answer that!)
