A smile covers up the pain I have inside
The way I feel when I want to cry
Laughter covers up the tears that want to flow
Also the sadness I don't show
My mind wonders why I'm here
Why I'm stuck with so much fear
Love is what I want from you
What is it that I have to do
Things pile up in my head
I'm trying to remember words that were said
There are many things that need to be covered up inside
Trying to find a place to run and hide
Tears flow day after day
Trying to find out the hard way
