Coward-Δειλός (Senryu) Poem by Kostas Lagos

Coward-Δειλός (Senryu)

I threw my sword down

ran as fast as possible

I am drinking wine

Έριξα σπαθί

έτρεξα ταχύτατα

Πίνω κρασάκι.

Good one! I agree with your note, he probably was celebrating being alive but also felt a little ashamed for running away, so the wine would drown his guilt. 🍷
