The cows come running
When the dairy farmer calls
They want to be milked

It's amazing the difference in attitude of cows. Some are very gentle, and others are hard to deal with (foot in the milk bucket, etc.) .

As long as we continue to drink their milk. Nice work.

I knew exactly what you meant when I saw the title, having milked many cows just like those in the picture when I was young. We had one wily cow who would depressurize herself by stretching around and drinking her own milk. Dad put a stop to that by having her butchered. She sure was tasty! A fine haiku!

It can't be comfortable to be burdened with milk and have no way to release the pressure without aid. I like udder relief.: -) When I first saw the title, I thought it was about the copious amount of methane they emit.
