Crashing Life Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Crashing Life

Motion filling interiorly, keeping me sane,
even though life is crashing all around.

Tearing me apart inside, leaving me stranded
on an island in the middle of nowhere.

Casting away thoughts as they enter and
protrude, leaving me bereft and alone inside
shells of disobedience.

Taking chances, living dares, risking it all
in one small glance at inner screens,
portraying everlasting unhappiness.

Stopping along the way, sharing all emotions
with God.
