Creating A Poetical Playground Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Creating A Poetical Playground

Watching reflections in outside windows, seeing a bird
flying, looking like he's going to ram into the window,
but it's only a reflection of it going in the opposite
direction.

Not even flying towards the window that I'm watching,
feelings being tenderly tended to, creating a playground
that allows reality and imagination to blend and separate
at their own discretion.

Strolling along, feeling joy leaping inside, giving energy
through rhythms of music, taking this poet into spheres of
all different types and varieties, very interesting, vivid
and fascinating to this poet.

Taking and placing them into imagery and portraits to be
kept safely on a photographic screen interiorly, cherished
for however long this poet has left on earth before walking sunsetical shores alone, then disappearing beyond the black
curtains of death.
