Creed, Reed! Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Creed, Reed!

Creed, reed!
Freed from jail;
To feed us with your experiences,
After 38 years in prison.

Heed, seed!
To weed the rough edges of your past;
And, to gain your freedom today.

Freed, freedom!
With no greed from your past today,
As you started a new life today;
With the deeds of the truth presented to you.
