Think about a peasant!
A peasant feels happy with
whatever he harvests from his hard effort
that he puts in his cornfield!
Unless there is natural calamities
like draught, flood or cyclone,
his corn field grows in quantum jump.
Who does he always pray?
He often prays to lord Indra, the rain God!
And of course, he prays God for good luck!
He gets extremely delighted
when his lush green cornfield
tells him the tale of ecstasy of natural growth
as it obtains regular watering, natural sunlight
and free air without obsession of getting
pesticides, fertilizers and costly chemicals.
What happens if his effort is washed away
with an unexpected flood, draught or cyclone?
Does he give away his occupation?
Does he stop farming in the next year?
He unconditionally loves his occupation and his cornfield.
The cornfield loves the caring hand of the peasant.
What is the return of a simple peasant
on his investment of hard labor on the field?
Nothing else, his return of investment
is his contentment, sheer joys and jubilations!
