Cruel attempt

If we are proud of our ancestors
And paying respect as visitors
It shall always strike as matter of highest honor
We too feel it as traditional treasure

They were proud of their woman folk
And always talked
With great respect
Even though wars were fought for defensive acts

The women were always protected
And whole of the kingdom was fully reacted
Over the kidnapping or another kings evil design
That was real respective sign

What are we facing today?
The open show of lust on the way
Kidnapping and chain snatching
Or lifting girl forcibly and raping

The acid is thrown of face
For taking action in rage
Or firing point blank at helpless girl
The situation shown an ugly turn

No one may like to see it again
Especially by girl who lived with pain
Of such cruel attempt
She has only tears to kept at heart
