Crumble, Crumble, Social Tumble Poem by Sandra Feldman

Crumble, Crumble, Social Tumble

How would you define,
Our Present Times....?

'Beware, beware,
Global Warming,
Greatest threat,
Same sex marriage,
A sure bet,
Iran is a peace loving nation,
You bet, they're all set,
Superior education,
Liberal threat,
Law and order,
No respect, must upset,
What happened to this Nation?
Soon we'll all regret.'

Unfortunately countries all over the globe are passing through hard times! Natural and man made calamities abound! Values also have gone topsy turvy! The economic scenario also is not quite promising and we wonder if the world is going to the dogs! These mounting anxieties are well expressed in a small sweetly rhyming poem! Well done Sandra!

In science you can boil a frog to death if you turn up the heat gradually because the frog won't jump out but if you throw a frog in hot water at the beginning he will immediately jump out. The same has been the case in Western culture, the change has been gradual and sometimes it was to be for the bette, r and would have been, but even in those cases it got distorted frequently. Now it is clear that the undermining of Judeo-Christian values in some circles is deliberate, and they are no longer afraid to hide what have been their true motives all along. In the so-called Cylce of Nations N. Am is in steep decline. With so many manufacturing jobs in heavy industry gone it is very difficult to recover economically.
