Crystal Clear Poem by Judy Jones

Crystal Clear

Rest heavily upon my chest
Compress me
Suppress me
Keep me from unfolding

Weigh deeply on my mind
Weaving into every thought
Drowning my motivation
Choking my soul
An endless tease
Yearning for the best of both
But falling far from both

They are quite far
but I can see crystal clear
Panoramic view
of delights and horrors
I close my eyes and spin
Around and round
Sometimes circles
Sometimes spirals
And then I stop
And step forward in another direction
