Crystal Lid Poem by Jonathan ROBIN

Crystal Lid

Verse: a crys[t]al_id,
halfway-house between
[p]rose-leaf caterpillar
and the Song of Songs
beneath whose surface lie hid
cocooned meanings most seen
when childlike soul spills over
the mind's dam[n]s and wrongs,
when poetic phrases bid
images in harmony serene
keyed to wavelengths which wove a
haven where the heart belongs.
